Tales of the
Plan™
The
Tales of the Plan
library contains over a dozen short stories about real-life
recreational boating events involving a variety
of vessel types that illustrate the value of
preparing the USCG Float Plan. Each story illustrates
one of two scenarios: 1) how the float plan made
the difference in effecting a quick and
successful search and rescue by those who took
the time to prepare one, or 2) the consequences
that were needlessly endured by those who
didn't.
